Merry Christmas to you...
Chestnuts roasting on an open fire,
Jack Frost nipping at your nose,
Yuletide carols being sung by a choir,
And folks dressed up like Eskimos.
Everybody knows a turkey and some mistletoe,
Help to make the season bright,
Tiny tots with their eyes all a-glow,
Will find it hard to sleep tonight.
They know that Santa's on his way
He's loaded lots of toys and goodies on his sleigh,
And ev'ry mother's child is gonna spy,
To see if reindeer really know how to fly.
And so I'm offering this simple phrase,
To kids from one to ninety-two,
Although it's been said
Many times,
Many ways
Merry Christmas to you.
[musical interlude]
And so I'm offering this simple phrase,
To kids from one to ninety-two,
Although it's been said
Many times,
Many ways
Merry Christmas to you.

Backyards
Baby tell me please
Is this a dream
Spending the night with you
Beneath the cherrie trees
Just make a wish and every thing comes true
Out the windows of my bedroom
Through the backyards of our neighbors
But i didnt leave you waiting
There was endless concentration
Then the moon swept down to greet us
It was warm and made of flowers
Into vines that barely reached us
Climbing higher than forever
Baby tell me please in knowing this cause showing never tells
Was it just s breeze, was it a kiss
Breathless ecquisite chills
Beijo a chuva que se intromete nos meus dias de Primavera e embrulho-me na música que me protege...
